The Cornell Regenerative Medicine Laboratory is a leader in advancing our knowledge of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of tissue injury and musculoskeletal disease in humans and animals. We investigate the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the development of musculoskeletal and other tissue pathologies with the ultimate goal of identifying novel molecular targets for its treatment or prevention. By evaluating and treating orthopedic disease with innovative regenerative therapies and by working in collaboration with medical doctors, clinicians, engineers and scientists, we optimize our approach for evaluating and treating tissue injury.
