Many of our patients at the Companion Animal Hospital are referred by their veterinarians for evaluation by our faculty specialists for complicated medical or surgical problems.
Is your pet experiencing an emergency?
Cornell University Hospital for Animals – Companion Animal Hospital has teamed up with VetTriage to provide an emergency triage service for our clients. The VetTriage veterinarians are available 24/7 and for a small fee, will assess your pet on a live video chat within minutes to determine if your pet requires immediate emergency care or can be monitored at home until a regularly scheduled appointment is available.
In the event of an emergency, they will coordinate your visit to our emergency service.
