Dr. Melanie Ragin, assistant dean for inclusion and academic excellence, joins the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC)'s show, "Diversity & Inclusion on Air: Social Colorblindness," hosted by Dr. Lisa M. Greenhill, senior director for institutional research and diversity. Along with assistant dean for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) Richard Barajas of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, the group discusses the issues around social colorblindness, and how it serves to uphold racism and other forms of discrimination.
