Recently WNV SN and PRNT assays were compared on low antibody titer level samples, which led to adjustments in our testing strategy. Moving forward, the SN assay will ONLY be performed on canine and equine samples. All mammal, avian, reptile, and amphibian samples are acceptable for the PRNT assay.
