Please remember to indicate animal age for all serum samples on the submission form. When testing serum on the BVDACE test, the animal MUST be 61 days of age or older on the day of sample collection.

The AHDC will no longer call clients to obtain animal ages when ages are not listed on the submission form. The following comment will be added to the report for animals for which age was not indicated:

"FOR BVDACE TESTING ON SERUM ANIMAL MUST BE 61 DAYS OF AGE OR OLDER. ANIMAL(S) AGE WAS NOT GIVEN ON THE ACCESSION FORM. BVDACE TEST RESULTS ARE NOT VALID IF ANIMAL IS LESS THAN 61 DAYS OLD ON DAY OF SAMPLE COLLECTION."
