The Toxicology Laboratory replaces its Pre-Purchase Drug Screen with its Equine Drug Screen (EQDRUG) effective September 12, which includes lower detection limits and quantitation of NSAIDs.

• Level 1 screening ($190) includes targeted detection and quantitation of caffeine, clenbuterol, etodolac, firocoxib, flunixin, ketoprofen, ketorolac, methocarbamol, oxyphenbutazone, piroxicam, phenylbutazone, and theobromine; and detection of cetirizine and any other drugs identified through untargeted screening.
• Level 2 ($215) includes all Level 1 analytes plus identification of acepromazine, chlorpromazine, detomidine, fluphenazine, reserpine, and xylazine. Turnaround time 3-5 business days. Please submit at least 3 mL serum or plasma, spun down and removed from cells as soon as possible.
