The New York State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (NYSVDL) is a comprehensive program dedicated to improving the health of food and fiber producing animals, companion animals, sport and recreational animals, exotic animals, and wildlife. These activities protect and improve public health, promote environmental stewardship, and foster economic growth. The New York State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory is operated as a partnership between the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.
