Ambulatory Referrals and Laboratory Testing
Animals requiring advanced medical or surgical care may be referred to the Cornell Hospital for Animals (607-253-3100) if deemed appropriate.
Laboratory testing is done through the Animal Health Diagnostic Center at Cornell. Animals for necropsy may be referred to the Pathology Service at Cornell or examined on farm, according to the level of examination required and the options for disposal of the body.
Milk cultures for mastitis control are provided by QMPS, the Quality Milk Production Services program in the Animal Health Diagnostic Center at Cornell.
Forage testing is provided through Dairy One in Ithaca.
