Preceptorships with CVM
The College of Veterinary Medicine offers two preceptorship opportunities with a cost of living stipend. The first opportunity offered is within the main animal hospital, where you can experience a gamut of services provided from equine, farm, companion and exotic animal services. The second opportunity is at the Janet L. Swanson Wildlife Hospital. With wildlife you will observe tasks and procedures and then quickly be given increased responsibility throughout the hospital according to your comfort and skill level. We encourage you apply and allow us the honor to teach you in a fast-paced, dynamic, hands-on environment.
Both preceptorships are on-site at CUHA and The Janet L. Swanson Wildlife Hospital in Ithaca, NY. Cornell University has a comprehensive COVID-19 testing program for all who are on campus.
