Committee on Promotion, Tenure, and Mentoring
Charge
- Assist with preparation of the dossiers for advancement of tenure/specialty track faculty;
- Assist with reappointments and sabbatical/professional leave;
- Serve as initial mentorship committee for all junior faculty;
- Establish mentorship committee for each junior faculty member (within 6 months);
- Develop strategic plan for mentorship of junior faculty;
- Oversee mentoring committees and request feedback on faculty performance for annual performance evaluation from mentoring committees, section chiefs, medical directors;
- Assist faculty with CV's and candidate statements for reappointments and promotions.
