Most tenure-track faculty in Biomedical Sciences contribute to curricula associated with different fields that are part of the Graduate School, including but not limited to Biomedical and Biological Sciences (BBS); Genetics, Genomics and Development (GGD); Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology (BMCB); and Computational Biology (CB). 

Many labs in the department train post-doctoral fellows. In addition, the Center for Animal Resources and Education (CARE) sponsors an ACLAM-recognized laboratory animal medicine residency.
