Biography

Dr. Alexandra Wright is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Cornell in 2018, after which she completed an equine internship at Rhinebeck Equine, LLP in Rhinebeck, NY. She then spent another year in private practice working for Dr. Robert Baratt DVM, MS, FAVD, DAVDC, DAVDC/EQ in Connecticut. She returned to Cornell in 2020 to complete a Dual Track Equine and Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery residency. She enjoys the comparative nature of veterinary dentistry, and studying tooth resorption in horses and cats is a particular interest of hers.
