Cornell proud partner of Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show

The Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has been a proud partner of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show since 2019. Serving as the show’s official veterinary care provider, we bring together leading canine health experts and clinicians from across CVM, including the Cornell University Hospital for Animals, based in Ithaca, New York, the Cornell University Veterinary Specialists, (CUVS) based in Stamford, Connecticut, and the Cornell Richard P. Riney Canine Health Center, with a mission to help dogs live longer, healthier and happier lives.

See some of the highlight’s from this year’s show, where CVM clinicians were on sight to provide care for the entirety of the show May 11-14 at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York. To see more photos and some of these pups in action, follow Riney Canine Health Center social media.

Liz Dole, D.V.M. ’86, with her agility dog Chelsea, a 10-year-old Labrador retriever. Chelsea is Dole’s third agility dog. When Chelsea was three, she ranked fourth in the national agility championships.
She was a finalist at Westminster in 2019, and she has competed internationally as part of the United States agility team. Dole has been competing for 22 years, in addition to being a practicing veterinarian.
