NYS-VMS spring conference sees high attendance
Combining the educational excellence of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and the collegiality of New York State Veterinary Medical Society, the 2018 Spring New York State Veterinary Conference was held May 4 - 6 in Terrytown, New York. Attendees enjoyed varied companion-animal lectures from world-class speakers. Our most attended topics were "Let’s Talk About Diagnosing Liver Diseases In Dogs" by Dr. Forman and "Feline Respiratory Distress" by Dr. Rozanski.
In addition to the educational content, the 524 attendees enjoyed a full exhibit hall featuring over 50 vendors, as well as two evening receptions: Friday night's Comedy Hour with Dr. Fitzgerald was an hilarious success, and spirits were high at Saturday night's Purple Party, where we gathered to watch the Kentucky Derby. After this great event, the Planning Committee is looking forward to the 2018 Fall NYS-VC, which will take place at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, on October 5-7, 2018.
