Special Equine Seminar kicks off Zweig Trot horse races
Joining a fun day at the races, researchers from Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine will kick off 2013's annual Zweig Memorial Trot with a series of talks on equine health.
The Zweig Memorial Trot is a series of races for colts and fillies. It is named in honor of Dr. Harry M. Zweig, who was instrumental in the development of the Harry M. Zweig Memorial Fund for Equine Research at Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine.
Talks begin Sunday, August 25, at 2:00pm at Vernon Downs, 4229 Stuhlman Road, Vernon, New York 13476. Directions can be found at the following link: https://www.vernondowns.com/about-us/contact/. Registration is at 1:30pm. The Zweig Memorial Trot 2013 races begin at post time 6:45pm. The following talks will be held by their respective faculty members:
