Epidemiology - Current Workshops

Cornell Summer Program 2011

Cornell University will offer a summer course in epidemiologic methods. The course, Tools for Infectious- Disease Epidemiology: Infectious disease modeling, will be offered at Cornell from July 20-22, 2011. This year we will focus on infectious-disease modeling.

In this three day workshop we cover introduction to deterministic “SIR” models, stochastic models and beyond “SIR” models (within host models). In this hands-on workshop you will learn an easy to use Model-Maker software.

This course is designed for veterinarians, other animal-health professionals, and graduate students who need proficiency in infectious-disease epidemiology.

Information for the workshop is Available
