Early pregnancy test is now available
Learn if your client’s mare is pregnant just 45 days after breeding
The Diagnostic Endocrinology Lab has reintroduced the pregnant mare serum gonadotropin (PMSG) test. PMSG rises rapidly after conception, peaking at about day 60, and can be detected through day 100. With a single serum sample, the lab can assess conception and endometrial cup formation and help to identify problems that can be addressed early. More information is available online or here.
