While each radiologist has a niche interest, we all continue to read radiographs and perform ultrasound examinations, teach veterinary students and residents, contribute to research projects, and provide consultation services to the veterinary community.

Meg Thompson joined the Cornell faculty in 2006 after 4 years as faculty at the University of Florida. She received her DVM from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in 1999, a residency in radiology at the University of Florida in 2002 and is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology.

Dr. Thompson was officially named as Hospital Director of Cornell's Hospital for Animals in May 2016, after first serving as Interim Director since August 2015.

We employ both licensed veterinary technicians (LVT) and licensed radiology technicians (RT) who work together to care for your animal and obtain the best medical images possible. Our technical staff has more than 125 YEARS combined and continuous experience in veterinary imaging at CUHA!
