Swine

Tamworth litterPet and production pigs are served. Programs and services provided vary with the needs and experience of the owner, and may include: vaccination programs; parasite control programs; nutritional and management evaluations; foot trimming; castration, needle teeth trimming and iron shots; well visits, health certificates and fair forms; Pork Quality Assurance Plus evaluations; sick animal, dystocia and other emergency visits; pregnancy diagnosis by ultrasound; and necropsy. Because of biosecurity issues, advanced scheduling may be required to avoid the transmission of infectious agents from one swine farm to another if shower-in, shower-out facilities are not available.
