Sign up now for the 27th Annual Fred Scott Feline Symposium, which will be held July 24-26, 2015 at Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine in beautiful Ithaca, New York. The symposium draws veterinary professionals from all over the country for seminars, hands-on activities, and events to help build expertise in feline medicine.
This year’s symposium will feature updates on feline nephrology and hypertension by Dr. Hattie Syme, and by Dr. Galina Hayes, who will present topics in surgical management of genitourinary and gastrointestinal diseases of cats. Dr. Hayes will also present a hands-on laboratory activity that will provide attendees with the opportunity to apply some of the tips presented in her presentations.
The program will be rounded out by updates on feline parasitology, feline ear diseases, mechanisms of feline calicivirus infection, nutritional management of endocrinopathies, treatment of oral squamous cell carcinoma, and the use of reproductive hormone assays to optimize breeding programs in endangered cheetah populations.
