Research/Clinical Interests

Dr. Cheetham, and his laboratory team form the Preclinical Upper Airway Lab, focuses on restoring function in the larynx, nasopharynx and trachea using tissue engineering, reinnervation and functional electrical stimulation techniques. The lab's research is applied to both human and veterinary patients. Dr. Cheetham holds a PhD in comparative respiratory physiology and surgery.
