I was born in 1991 and grew up on a cattle farm in a small village near Osnabrück, Germany. After graduating from high school I started to study veterinary medicine in Hanover 2011.
On the parental cattle farm I have always been in contact with dogs, cats and livestock. Like many veterinarians, I love spending time with them and being outside in nature. In university holidays I support an orthopedic farrier on his work. In my free time I am involved in some local political committees, play theater and enjoy spending time with my friends.
After graduation I would like to connect my passion for livestock medicine with my interest in animal endocrinology. I am particularly interested in metabolic disorders of high yielding cows. Doing research on production diseases and giving impulses to practical veterinary work and stock farming in general would be great.
